Gender equality



Gender Equality is the burning issue in the country like India where men dominated the society and still rigid towards the change.

In the country where women treated as “Charno ki Dasi”  is very difficult to change the comprehension of men .

The Intelligentsia support gender equality but it is not enough to bring the significant changes in the thinking of men.

Despite so many obstacles CID came forward to work for gender equality to bring women at par to men in the community where it is required the most. CID believes that women should get equal opportunity to participate in the development of their persona, their community, their city and their nation.

Community CGE1ommittee of women created to make women aware about their rights so that they can raise their voice when needed. CID also injecting the notions of gender Equality in Adolescent girlGE2s and boys through the adolescent girls group and youth groups so that they grow up with the rectified thinking of gender equality not with the ill thought of men supremacy.

CID also put great effort in “Beti Bachao Abhiyaan” to save the infant killing of girl child as well to sensitize people towards importance of girls as a part society.

CID has organised a awareness program with support of Women and Child Development Department to spread awareness among the school children of Gwalior , the program has covered 20 schools .
